Journeys

"You may not end up where you thought you'd be, but you always end up where you're meant to be." -unknown

The challenge is accepting the journey with grace, joy and peace in your heart.

We're is your journey taking you in 2013?

  1. I do not know exactly where the journey is headed, but I do know who is in control of the mapquest!!

  2. Love the first photo with the map! :)

I hope that 2013 is the year my husband and I start a family of our own. I think this might also be the year we move to the East Coast. But who knows? Life has a way of surprising.

  3. Not sure where this year will take me. But I know where I would like to go: to be an established fashion/travel and lifestyle writer on both my blog and Skimbaco Lifestyle. To get as healthy as I can be by eating clean, exercising frequently and keeping my bad habits at bay. I would also like to travel a lot this year and decrease the inventory of things in my home. It's all up to me!

Where is your journey taking you? Would love to hear!

    1. I think you are well on your way as a fashion/lifestyle writer!! I love your blog.
I'm not sure of where my journey is taking me, it's just hit high gear though.

  4. A dear friend of mine has a wonderful quote -"Always plan your next escape" and I think when we have little escapes or journey's that take us away to another place, they can add years to our lives. This weekend we have massage appointments and I can hardly wait. After a day of skiing, it will be heavenly.

  5. I never like to plan too far ahead (ie I am incapable of doing so!)but I hope I get to travel a bit and get the time to read the long list of books on my kindle. Happy New Year to you!

    1. That Kindle is a trap. It's just so easy to shop with "one click" buying. Then I have zillions of things to read and no time!

  7. We're never really sure, are we? That's part of the fun, to me, of writing down what I think my best laid plans are - and then comparing that at the end of the year to all the serendipity that took place to get me, yes, like your quote states above, where I'm meant to be. The fun is in the journey!

  8. Love these pictures! I always am amazed at what happens one year to the next. I am really working on finding some more peace adn contentment and creativty in 2013! Am off to do yoga even as we speak!

Oh and I am pretty sure I want a wicker bicycle basket with flowers sometime this year! :-)

  9. I'm working on how I "feel" rather than on specific goals. I do have goals, but I am not going to obsess about them and try and live more in the moment and in the flow (easier said than done ;-)
TYSM for your lovely comments over at mine xx

Most importantly, this entry speaks to me......I've found myself in a new city with no job,,yet. Very daunting at my 50+ years. We just never know how our story will go. Great read! Thanks so much!!
